Seeking Experienced Medical Controller for Large, Multi-Location Specialty Practice in Tampa Bay area of Florida

Must have Experience with a Large Medical Practice or Health System Experience!

Are you passionate about the healthcare business? Join our dynamic and growing team of medical professionals! As the Controller in our large (50+ Providers), multi-location (western Florida coast), specialty practice, you will be responsible for day-to-day financial operations, including:

  • Financial Operations: Direct daily accounting, bookkeeping, A/P, A/R, payroll, cash management, and general ledger and financial reporting
  • Benefits Administration
  • Internal Financial Controls
  • Interfacing with outside professionals including accounting, retirement, payroll, and tax professionals

In addition, you will provide in-depth analysis and recommendations for new service lines and locations, and do monthly monitoring of Practice and Regional profitability:

  • Reporting & Budgeting: Prepare financial statements, monthly dashboards, forecasts, budgets, and variance analyses; ensure timely reporting
  • Analyzing revenue, costs, and profitability
  • Providing leadership and decision support for managed care contracting
  • Contributing to strategic decision-making through data analysis
  • Collaborating with Physician leadership to optimize service delivery
  • Ensuring compliance with financial and healthcare regulatory statutes and internal Controls

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of a bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, healthcare management or a related field; Master's degree is highly preferred
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in a financial leadership position in a healthcare setting (i.e., in a hospital and/or large physician practice)
  • Strong analytical and data interpretation skills and expertise in Excel
  • High level of expertise in QuickBooks, QuickBooks Enterprise, and/or other accounting packages
  • Knowledge of medical billing and reimbursement and familiarity with medical insurance billing
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate with Physician and Administrative leaders throughout the organization
  • Proven success in a financial leadership role within a healthcare setting

Seeking Experienced Practice Manager for Growing Pediatric Practice in Vinings, GA

Hands-on Practice Manager needed to oversee day-to-day operations and billing-related processes of our family-friendly 2- doctor Pediatric Practice. This position interacts with the providers and staff in all areas of the practice as well as with external partners including patients, families, vendors, outside accountants, I.T. support and business partners. Requires 4+ years of hands-on experience in medical practice operations, all aspects of credentialing, medical billing and revenue cycle management, skills in personnel management and familiarity with QuickBooks, outside payroll companies and banking.

The responsibilities of this role include but are not limited to:

  • Overseeing the front desk, insurance verification, authorizations, time-of-service collections, coding and charge review, claims submission through clearinghouse, electronic payment posting and support for A/R follow-up and reporting areas
  • Credentialing and licensing renewals with hospitals and third-party payers
  • Implementing office policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and ensure compliance with healthcare regulatory requirements
  • Strong people skills including the ability to maintain excellent relations with hospitals and families
  • Assisting in establishing a culture of excellent customer service and patient centered care including addressing patient issues in a timely and supportive manner
  • Leadership of personnel functions to include overseeing outside payroll, supervision of personnel and staff development
  • Overall ability to manage a variety of operational and financial responsibilities and contribute to building an efficient, patient-centered atmosphere.

Qualifications:

Requires the ability to communicate effectively and professionally with patients, practice providers and nurses, and outside parties. Seeking Certified Medical Phone Triage Certified Medical Assistant for Multi-Provider Practice. They will interact regularly with patients, physicians and other clinical providers, dialysis centers and hospitals and administrative staff. The right candidate for these roles possess the ability to communicate effectively and efficiently. Requires being proactive with good organizational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities and tasks.

A minimum of 1-2 years of prior experience within a physician medical office assisting with medical phone triage addressing patient medical questions accordingly and/or back-office duties required. Experience in Dialysis/Nephrology/Endocrinology is highly preferred.
